Stanley Cup Champion with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2013 and again in 2015. His first goal as a Flyer was Game 4 of the first round of Stanley Cup playoffs against Pittsburgh. After retiring from the NHL in 2015, Carcillo created a non-profit organization, Chapter 5, that assists former NHL-players who are suffering from post-concussion syndrome and mental health issues.
Carcillo’s efforts since his NHL retirement are focused on coaching, on-and-off ice training and concussion education for youth hockey at all levels, and managing Chapter 5 initiatives. Working with the premier Illinois AAA club hockey teams and players gives him an opportunity to share his experience and train young players to take their game to the next level.
